4-7-5. Employment of personnel for bureau--Expenses of personnel--Equipment and supplies--Office space.The commissioner of finance and management is hereby authorized with the approval of the Governor to employ and fix the salaries of such other professional, technical, and clerical personnel as he may deem necessary to carry out the duties prescribed in this chapter. In addition to their salaries, the commissioner and other personnel in the Bureau of Finance and Management shall be allowed travel and subsistence expenses, at the same rate as for other employees of state government. The commissioner is authorized with the approval of the Governor to purchase and acquire the equipment and supplies he deems necessary to perform his duties. The Bureau of Human Resources and Administration shall furnish the Bureau of Finance and Management with the necessary office space in a state building in Pierre.
