40-20-10. Transportation of livestock without required authorization--Penalty.If authorization is required, it is a Class 2 misdemeanor for a carrier or owner to transport livestock from the livestock ownership inspection area or to within a mile of the border with a destination outside the livestock ownership inspection area unless the carrier or owner is in possession of authorization by the board.
