40-20-26.1. Sale or transfer of ownership--Required inspection--Penalty.It is a Class 2 misdemeanor for any person to sell or to transfer ownership of any livestock within the livestock ownership inspection area without obtaining an ownership inspection, except as provided in §40-20-26.
