Requirements for issuance of hunting license to child under sixteen--Violation as misdemeanor.Notwithstanding §41-6-13, no hunting license may be issued to any person under the age of sixteen years unless the applicant presents to the person authorized to issue such license a certificate of successful completion as provided in rules promulgated by the Game, Fish and Parks Commission, pursuant to chapter 1-26, an appropriate certificate of successful completion of a hunter safety or hunter education course from another state or province of Canada, or a hunting license issued to the applicant in the current or previous year.
