41-20-17. Duties of state forester.The state forester, under the direction of the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources, shall administer and enforce all state laws with reference to forests, woodlands, trees, and tree plantations, public and private, and shall provide for their health and protection from trespass, and other damaging influences.
