42-7A-31. Sale of tickets at price greater than that fixed by rules prohibited--Sale by authorized retailer only--Violation.No person may sell a lottery ticket at a price greater than that fixed by the rules adopted pursuant to this chapter. No person other than a lottery retailer authorized by the South Dakota Lottery may sell or resell lottery tickets. Any person convicted of violating this section is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor on the first offense and a Class 6 felony on the second or subsequent offense. Source: SL 1987, ch 313, §35.
