Application for permit for exploration operations--Items comprising application.Any person desiring to conduct a uranium exploration operation shall, prior to entry on the land, file with the Board of Minerals and Environment an application and receive a permit to conduct a uranium exploration operation on a form approved by the board. Each uranium exploration operation application shall be limited to sixteen contiguous townships.An application for a permit shall include the following:(1)An application form pursuant to §45-6D-7;(2)A plan of reclamation pursuant to §45-6D-9;(3)A map pursuant to §45-6D-10; and(4)A fee pursuant to §45-6D-18.Any person conducting uranium exploration activities that are not included within the scope of a uranium exploration operation is not required to file an application or receive an exploration operation permit required by this chapter.
