46A-4-25. Annual election of directors--Nomination--Election by receiving highest number of votes.Each year after establishing the district, there shall be elected for a term of three years one or more members of the board of directors, as the case may be. The member of the board of directors from each division shall be nominated as provided in this chapter and shall be elected by receiving the highest number of votes cast by the electors of the division in the irrigation district for which the member is to serve as a director.
