46A-10A-101. Publication of notice of election--Votes by proxy.The county auditor shall publish notice of the election. The notice shall give the time, place, and purpose of the election. The notice shall be published for two consecutive weeks in the official newspapers of each county. The last publication may not be less than ten days before the date of the election. The auditor shall mail a copy of the notice of election to each landowner in the district. The county auditor shall also inform each landowner in writing that each landowner may vote by proxy pursuant to §46A-10A-105. Source: SL 1997, ch 256, §4.
