Maintenance and improvement of existing drains, watercourses, and levees.Powers conferred by this chapter and chapter 46A-11 for establishing and constructing drains include maintaining, relocating, extending, deepening, widening, and regulating of existing drains and drains hereafter constructed; straightening, cleaning out, deepening, and otherwise regulating channels of creeks and streams; and constructing, maintaining, remodeling, and repairing levees, dikes, and barriers for the purpose of drainage.
