Corporate name--Distinguishable from specified names.Except as authorized by §§47-1A-1506.2 and 47-1A-1506.3, the corporate name, including a fictitious name, of a foreign corporation must be distinguishable upon the records of the secretary of state from:(1)The corporate name of a corporation incorporated or authorized to transact business in this state;(2)A corporate name reserved or registered under §47-1A-402 or 47-1A-403 to 47-1A-403.2, inclusive;(3)The fictitious name of another foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state;(4)The corporate name of a not-for-profit corporation incorporated or authorized to transact business in this state; and(5)The name of a limited liability company, limited partnership, limited liability partnership, or limited liability limited partnership organized or authorized to transact business in this state.
