Powers of cooperative--Construction and maintenance of facilities on public lands.A cooperative may construct, maintain, and operate transmission and distribution lines along, upon, under, and across publicly owned lands and public thoroughfares, including all roads, highways, streets, alleys, bridges, and causeways.
