Section 47-33-7 - Conflicting provisions of law

47-33-7. Conflicting provisions of law.(1) The requirements of this chapter are in addition to the requirements of other applicable law and any requirements contained in either the articles or bylaws of a domestic public corporation. For the purpose of applying this chapter, if any other provision of law is inconsistent with, in conflict with or contrary to this chapter, that provision does not apply to the extent that it is inconsistent with, in conflict with or contrary to this chapter and the provisions of this chapter shall prevail over that other provision.(2) Notwithstanding subdivision (1), any provision of this chapter which is inconsistent with, in conflict with or contrary to §49-33-14.2 or 49-33-31 shall not apply to a domestic public corporation organized under chapter 49-33.
