Plat of proposed road filed with commissioner of school and public lands--Duplicate to register of deeds.Each railroad authorized to construct a road in this state, that has surveyed its road, shall cause a plat of the road, clearly indicating the boundary line of the right-of-way and area in acres and fractions, to be certified by its chief engineer or president, and acknowledged, and filed with the commissioner of school and public lands, and a duplicate with the register of deeds of each county in which the land is situated.
