Party line and emergency calls--Definitions.For the purposes of §§49-31-29 and 49-31-30 the following terms have the meanings ascribed to them as follows:(1)'Party line' means a subscribers' line telephone circuit, consisting of two or more main telephone stations connected therewith, each station with a distinctive ring or telephone number;(2)'Emergency' means a situation in which property or human life are in jeopardy, and the prompt summoning of aid is essential.
