51A-17-67. Multistate licensing process--Investigations.If an applicant avails itself or is otherwise subject to a multistate licensing process:(1)The director is authorized and encouraged to accept the investigation results of a lead investigative state for the purpose of §51A-17-66 if the lead investigative state has sufficient staffing, expertise, and minimum standards; or(2)If the division is a lead investigative state, the director is authorized and encouraged to investigate the applicant pursuant to §51A-17-66 and the timeframes established by agreement through the multistate licensing process, provided, however, that in no case shall such a timeframe be noncompliant with the application period in §51A-17-64.
