51A-17-82. Multistate licensing--Determination--Investigation.If a multistate licensing process includes a determination pursuant to §51A-17-81 and an applicant avails itself or is otherwise subject to the multistate licensing process:(1)The director is authorized and encouraged to accept the control determination of a lead investigative state with sufficient staffing, expertise, and minimum standards for the purpose of §51A-17-81; or(2)If this state is a lead investigative state, the director is authorized and encouraged to investigate the applicant pursuant to §51A-17-81 and the timeframes established by agreement through the multistate licensing process.
