Withdrawal of consent.A withdrawal of consent by a party does not affect the legal effectiveness, validity, or enforceability of a notice or document delivered by electronic means to the party before the withdrawal of consent is effective. A withdrawal of consent by a party is effective within a reasonable period of time after receipt of the withdrawal by the insurer. If an insurer fails to comply with §58-1-30, the party may treat the failure as a withdrawal of consent for purposes of §§58-1-27 to 58-1-39, inclusive. Source: SL 2014, ch 230, §8.
