Mutual debts or credits between insurer and another set off.Mutual debts or mutual credits between the insurer and another person in connection with any action or proceeding under this chapter shall be set off and the balance only shall be allowed or paid, except as provided in §58-29B-87, and §§58-29B-95 to 58-29B-97, inclusive.
