58-29D-29. Waiver of application requirements.Upon request from an administrator, the director may waive the application requirements of §58-29D-22 if the administrator has a valid license as an administrator issued in a state which has standards for administrators that are at least as stringent as those contained in this chapter. If waived, the administrator shall register with the director in this state. The waiver shall automatically lapse if the third party administrator granted a waiver is no longer licensed in the state for which the waiver was granted. Any waiver given by this section does not extend to any suspension or revocation of licensure or registration pursuant to §58-29D-31. Source: SL 1992, ch 352, §29; SL 2001, ch 285, §4.
