58-32-4. Chapter not applicable to life and health insurance, annuities, and reinsurance--Exceptions.The provisions of this chapter do not apply to life and health insurance, annuities, or reinsurance. This section does not prohibit the procurement of coverage otherwise complying with the export requirements of this chapter for:(1)Disability insurance that has a benefit limit in excess of any benefit limit available from an admitted insurer; or(2)Health insurance for an individual traveling or temporarily living outside the United States for health care costs incurred abroad.
