Compliance of insurers retaining independent accountant on July 1, 2009.Any domestic insurer retaining a certified public accountant on July 1, 2009 who qualifies as independent shall comply with this chapter for the year ending December 31, 2010, and each year thereafter unless the director permits otherwise.
