§ 59-12-4-1

59-12-4.1. Notary exception--Vehicle title transfers to insurers.With respect to a vehicle for which title is to be transferred to an insurer, a power of attorney to make application for or to assign a certificate of title is exempt from the notarization requirements under §59-12-4. A principal may satisfy the signature requirement provided under §59-12-4 for a power of attorney described in this section by electronic signature. Source: SL 2023, ch 170, §1.
