Investment of money in fund--Disposition of income.The governing body of such county, municipality, or school district shall have power and authority to invest, from time to time and as such fund accumulates, the moneys derived therefrom in bonds of the State of South Dakota, bonds of any subdivision of government of this state, or bonds of the United States government, and the income derived from such investment shall be paid into and kept in such auditorium building fund.
