61-2-7.2. Direction and supervision by Department of Labor and Regulation--Independent functions retained by councils.The reemployment assistance advisory council shall be administered under the direction and supervision of the Department of Labor and Regulation and the secretary thereof, but shall retain the respective quasi-judicial, quasi-legislative, advisory, other nonadministrative and special budgetary functions (as defined in §1-32-1) otherwise vested in the council and shall exercise those functions independently of the secretary of labor and regulation.
