Hours of operation for county offices established by board of county commissioners--Exceptions.The board of county commissioners shall, by resolution, establish the hours of operation for each county government office, except for the offices of the sheriff and state's attorney. The county auditor's office shall remain open, if requested by the person in charge of a school or municipal election, until the closing of the polls and the tabulation of votes for that election.
