Reception record and fee book maintained by register--Entries in record.The register of deeds shall keep a reception record and fee book to be provided by the county which shall be a part of the records of his office and in which shall be entered each item of fees charged or received by him for service rendered as such officer and which book shall also show the name and character of each instrument received for recording or filing, the date of the same, the names of the parties thereto, and the date, hour and minute when received for filing, and the filing number or book and page of record of such instrument.
