7-18-18.1. Deferred compensation program for volunteer advanced life support personnel.Any county with volunteer advanced life support personnel may establish a deferred compensation program for its volunteer advanced life support personnel. Such a program may be financed by the county or by the volunteer advanced life support personnel and may be managed through the county or through an insurance company or other financial institution. Such program shall be established by ordinance. Each county shall establish requirements for participation in the program. Participation in the program of deferred compensation shall be at the option of the volunteer advanced life support personnel. Source: SL 2011, ch 36, §1.
