Surplus funds expended for road work after abolition of township organization.At its first meeting after any township ceases to be a civil township as provided by this chapter, the board of county commissioners shall expend all money in the hands of the county treasurer to the credit of such township, in excess of the amount required to pay the indebtedness of such township, for road work in such former township territory according to the laws governing such road work.
