Enrollment in group health, life, and disability income insurance plans--Premiums.A township may enroll in any group health insurance plan, group life insurance plan, or group disability income insurance plan permitted by law to be offered in this state for township officers and any employee of the township who is employed for a minimum of one thousand forty hours per year by the township.
