Section 10-7-120 - Liability of register and clerks suspended during rebinding

During the time the record book or books are kept out of the office and custody of the county clerk, clerk and master, circuit court clerk, or register, for the purpose stated in § 10-7-119, such person shall be released and held harmless and free from all liability on such person's official bond or otherwise for the proper and safekeeping of such books in such person's office.Acts 1897, ch. 73, § 2; Shan., § 3793a2; Code 1932, § 7700; impl. am.
