Section 11-14-404 - Inventory of wetlands and forests

The director is authorized to maintain an inventory of rare and significant biological and geological wetlands and bottomland hardwood forests worthy of protection under the terms and conditions of this part. Such inventory shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, locations for unique wetlands, scenic wetlands, wetlands which are excellent examples of wildlife habitat, areas exhibiting exceptional ecological values, and bottomland hardwood forests.Acts 1986, ch. 833, § 4.
