Section 11-23-103 - Rules and provisions for administration and maintenance

Upon the acquisition of any forests or of lands suitable for such under this chapter, the governing body shall notify the state forester who shall make such rules for the government and proper administration of the same as may be necessary. The governing body shall thereupon publish such rules, declare the uses of the forest in accord with the true intent hereof and make such provisions for its administration, maintenance, protection and development as shall be necessary or expedient.Acts 1941, ch. 105, § 3; C.
