(a) The division of archaeology is hereby authorized to accept grants, bequests, devises, gifts, and donations for purposes of furthering the state program in archaeology and to expend funds so received for those purposes.(b) The department of environment and conservation has full power to accept and hold title to land or interests in land in the name of the state for the purposes of this chapter.Acts 1970, ch. 468, § 14; T.C.A., § 11-1514.
