Section 11-9-102 - Cooperative planning, developing and acquiring outdoor recreational resources

The commissioner of environment and conservation, in cooperation with the state planning office and other state, federal, local and private agencies, is authorized to prepare, maintain and keep up to date a comprehensive plan for the development of the outdoor recreation resources of the state, to develop, operate and maintain outdoor recreation areas and facilities of the state, and to acquire lands, waters and interest in lands and waters for such areas and facilities.Acts 1965, ch. 181, § 2; impl. am.
