Section 12-4-105 - Grand jury investigations

The judges of the circuit and criminal courts of the state shall give §§ 12-4-103 - 12-4-105 in charges to their respective grand juries, and the grand juries shall have inquisitorial powers to summon witnesses and to inquire into probable violations of those sections.Acts 1953, ch. 160, § 4 (Williams, § 1876.4); T.C.A.
