Section 12-8-102 - Penalty - Injunctive relief

Any state, county, or municipal officer violating this chapter, or knowingly permitting any provision of such chapter to be violated, commits a Class C misdemeanor. In addition to such penalty, injunctive relief may be had against a violator of this chapter by petition addressed to the chancellor of the judicial district in which such violation is alleged to have taken place.Acts 1955, ch. 96, § 2; 1976, ch. 767, § 2; T.C.A., § 12-702; Acts 1989, ch. 591, § 113.
