Section 14-4-104 - [Expired] Disciplinary process - Promulgation of rules - Exception

(a) Notwithstanding title 63 or 68 to the contrary, any disciplinary process, or action taken pursuant to such process, that is implemented by a health-related board regarding the dispensing or prescribing of medication for COVID-19 must be promulgated as a rule pursuant to title 4, chapter 5.(b)(1) Subsection (a) does not apply to the dispensing or prescribing of controlled substances. The exception created under this subdivision (b)(1) does not affect how the dispensing or prescribing of controlled substances is regulated under title 53 or 63.(2) As used in subdivision (b)(1), 'controlled substances' means a drug, substance, or immediate precursor defined or listed in Schedules I through VI of the Tennessee Drug Control Act of 1989, compiled in title 39, chapter 17, part 4.Amended by 2022 Tenn.
