Section 17-2-113 - Circuit judge acting as chancellor

Any circuit judge may also during the sittings of a chancery court, upon notification of a cause in which the chancellor is incompetent, as provided in § 17-2-112, take the place of the chancellor on the bench and hear and determine the cause as chancellor, the necessary entry being made on the minutes of the court and signed by the circuit judge.Code 1858, § 3923 (deriv.
