In all cases not otherwise provided for, when fractions of counties have been cut off to establish a new county, the county election commission of each old county shall, until the next apportionment of representatives, hold all elections for governor, members of congress, and members of the general assembly.Acts 1972, ch. 740, § 1; T.C.A., § 2-1220.
