Nothing in this chapter shall be construed as expanding, diminishing, altering or modifying the duty, if any, of an employer to provide a safe workplace for employees and other persons. Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit an employer or employee from pursuing any other civil or criminal remedy provided by law.Acts 2002, ch. 541, § 9.
