Section 28-1-104 - Accrual of principal's liability to surety or endorser

The time for the limitation of an action by either a surety or accommodation endorser against their principal on negotiable paper, or for any matter growing out of the suretyship, does not commence to run until judgment is rendered against the surety or endorser, or the surety or endorser until the surety or endorser has paid the money.Code 1858, § 2782; Shan., § 4479; Code 1932, § 8606; T.C.A.
