Section 29-13-406 - Apportionment of funds among victims

(a) If more than one (1) victim may claim funds from an escrow account, no victim may be compensated until all claims against the defendant have been adjudicated.(b) If more than one (1) victim recovers a judgment for money damages, and funds from the escrow account are insufficient to satisfy fully all judgments, money shall be apportioned to each victim on a prorated basis.Acts 1994, ch. 1003, § 6.
