(a) Suits filed under this chapter may be brought in the county in which such governmental entity is located or in the county in which the incident occurred from which the cause of action arises.(b) A governmental entity operating in more than one (1) county shall be deemed to be located in the county where its principal office is found.Acts 1973, ch. 345, § 17; 1980, ch. 828, § 3; T.C.A., § 23-3320.
