Section 29-29-102 - Constructive service on persons not in being

If in such suit it shall appear that there is or may be any person who has been made a party defendant under § 29-29-101, a general notice of such suit shall be published in a newspaper within the county in which the land involved is situated, and if there is no newspaper in the county, then in an adjoining county, for four (4) consecutive weeks next preceding the hearing of such suit, and also general notice shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the premises for four (4) weeks next preceding the hearing of such suit, and notice given in accordance with this section shall be deemed constructive service on all unborn parties defendant.Acts 1919, ch. 13, § 2; Shan.
