(a) The action may be instituted in the court of general sessions or in the circuit court or chancery court.(b) The action may be instituted in any county where any part of the personal property is located, in the county where the contract was executed, in the county where any defendant resides or in the county where the address of any defendant was stated to be in any writing on which the plaintiff's claim to possession is founded.Acts 1973, ch. 365, § 2; T.C.A., § 23-2342.
