Section 29-36-101 - Waste by parol purchaser - Liability for rent

Any person going into possession of land under a parol agreement to purchase, which agreement is subsequently avoided by the person, is liable for waste committed during the person's possession, as well as for reasonable rent.Code 1858, § 3405 (deriv.
