Section 29-6-140 - Appointment of receiver

The court before whom the suit is pending, may, at any time, appoint a receiver to take possession of property attached under this chapter or chapter 7 of this title, and to collect, manage, and control the same, and pay over the proceeds according to the nature of the property and exigency of the case.Code 1858, § 3503; Shan., § 5263; Code 1932, § 9454; impl. am.
