Section 3-1-117 - Use of electronic signatures for request to convene for extraordinary session

Whenever a written request to convene for an extraordinary session is initiated by members of the senate and the house of representatives in accordance with the Constitution of Tennessee, Article II, § 8, signatures by the members may be provided electronically. The use of an electronic signature has the same validity and effect as the use of a signature affixed by hand.Added by 2021 Tenn. Acts, ch. 514,s 1, eff. 5/25/2021.
