Section 33-1-310 - Power to assume temporary control of facility in event of emergency

If the department determines that an emergency substantially impairs a service provider agency's capacity to provide service to its service recipients and jeopardizes the health or safety of its service recipients, the department may assume temporary operating responsibility for the agency to assure continuity of care and the health and safety of the service recipients.Acts 2000, ch. 947, § 1.
